I Serpent's Cult, dall'Alto Adige, si sono formati nel 2006 per volere dei due chitarristi Horn e Lvpvs con l’intento di creare una band radicalmente diversa dalle loro esperienze passate con altri gruppi. Dopo circa un anno passato a completare la formazione, a cui si è aggiunto Sarg al basso prima, e Vipera alla tastiera poi, dopo che un precedente tastierista ha abbandonato dopo pochi mesi, la line-up è stata completata da Waldläufer, non come chitarrista (il suo primo strumento), ma in veste di batterista. Dopo qualche mese di prove continue atte a compattare la formazione, cercare di creare un proprio stile e scrivere canzoni, nel mese di Marzo del 2008 la band registra un primo demo limitato a 100 copie (ancora disponibili, contattateci se siete interessati) numerate a mano.
I Serpent's Cult suonano un veloce e aggressivo Black Metal con molte influenze epiche che le tastiere contribuiscono ad inserire creando atmosfere cupe ed evocative. La band è attualmente a lavoro per promuovere il loro primo demo e si sta preparando per registrare un nuovo demo contenente alcune delle nuove tracce scritte nell’ultimo anno.
Serpent’s Cult, from South Tyrol, was founded in 2006 for want of the two guitarists Horn and Lupus, with the aim of creating a band to be radically different from their past experience with other groups. After about an year spent in completing the line-up, they were first joined by Sarg on the bass and then by Vipera on the keyboards (replacing the keyboardist who had left after few months). The line-up was completed by Waldläufer, not as guitarrist (his first instrument) but as drummer. After some months of constant rehearsals aimed to consolidate the group, to create their own style and to write songs, in March 2008 the band records a first demo limited to 100 copies (still available, contact us if you’re interested), hand- numbered.
Serpent’s Cult play a fast aggressive Black Metal with epic influences which keyboards contribute to enrich, creating grim evocative atmospheres. The band is currently working on promoting their first demo and is preparing to record a new one with the new tracks written during the past year.
