Austin and Andrew were two hip dudes. And when I say hip, I mean it. They liked to rock and would rock with many people. They started as a rhythm section for Steps on Monkeys. and moved to My Thesis Restated (With Daniel Pham!). After a while Andrew decided that he was too cool for school, and therefore he should make a ska band. He left My Thesis Restated and did absolutely nothing for a long time. Then he rejoined Steps on Monkeys only this time the band was called Eskimo Inferno, they played a show or two. Andrew got to play some ska songs like Beer by Reel Big Fish, but that was pretty much it. After a while He decided his dreams would now become reality, and he started a band with Austin Applesauce, and Stefan Greezy. This band was originally called The Husky Boyz, and remained so until they realized it sounded kind of like a gay pornography. The band was then renamed HyperNinjaclan, mostly because it was the first thing that Austin said, and that's usually how things work in this band (we can't think of a name, someone yells out a random sentence, name is born). Andrew then realized that he didn't want to play bass and sing, because it was far too hard. HNC was on the prowl for new members, and one day Greezy said: "hey, wouldn't it be wicked if Darion James was in our band?" so Andrew went to Darion and said: "Hey, we're thinking of playing in the Talent Show, it's gonna be like two songs, probably ska." Young Darion replied with a glorious "Sure." And then they had a bass player! After Playing like three shows, Andrew started making his own music. Some things didn't work out as well as planned and Stefan Greezy was replaced by the ever so handsome Brandon St. Randy (Austin's Brother, and former singer/guitarist from Steps on Monkeys and Eskimo Inferno!). This was the birth of the true HyperNinjaClan. All the songs written prior to everything were then put together in about a week for their first show show ever on June 14 (maybe?) at the Brickyard BBQ. Currently, HNC can be seen around Toronto and sometimes at American Apparel. They are working on recording their songs to put on some sort of EP or LP or something, either way it'll end up being cool stuff that's cheap, and fun to listen to!
