About Me

I grew up in southeastern Kansas and southwest Missouri (exciting, right?). In May 2005, I graduated from Missouri State University, in Springfield, Missouri with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. From there, I moved to New York in September. I've been here ever since (well, not really...I've been working all over since I moved). I love my profession because it allows me to go so many places and meet so many people. I'm just a crazy boy, who likes to have fun. I love my family more than I could possibly say--they have been so supportive of me my entire life and are the driving force behind my success. Next to my family, I have an amazing network of close friends from high school, college, many shows, and random other things; they get me through it and are the best people I know. I love my friends and I cherish every singe second with them. For now, I'm just going to try to keep working and dancing and singing and being totes ridic cray and enjoying my wonderful life!

My Interests

I think I wanna see more of the world. That's a new goal. Hopefully I'll start to work on that soon!Musical Theatre, Dancing, Singing, stuff like that there, ya know...

I'd like to meet:

I have soooooo many friends, but I'm always up for a few more fun loving peeps in my life. I like meeting celebrities, who doesn't. I would rather not meet assholes or people who seem nice at first but turn out to be assholes (it always sucks when you befriend someone only to find out that they're a complete douche).Oh, and duh...i'd love to meet all three of the ladies in the videos below...the amount of talent combined between the three of them is simply...earth shattering...thank God for these performances!!!

Music:

I like most kinds of music (except country, although I enjoy old, old school country western sometimes and old Dolly Parton stuff), but I'm almost always listening to showtunes. I know, stereotypical, but it's what I do...actually, I love listening to shows I don't know in hopes of finding performance material that may be less well known. I also love gospel and spirituals...basically anything with a bunch of fierce black women showin' up! That's my absolute favorite..."Dreamgirls" an' stuff! Oh-Kaaaaaaaaay?

Movies:

"The Wizard of Oz" is my all time favorite movie. I know, I know...make fun all you want but it's a good movie and it got me thinking theatre at a really young age. Other than that, I love a lot of different types of movies and I can't really think of other favorites right now...I'll let you know when I do. I like a lot of other random movies--too many to list probably. However, High School Musical has been making me laugh (and wanna do all that fierce choreography LOL) lately.

Television:

I don't watch anything regualarly...oh, except for PROJECT RUNWAY...I kow it's cliche, but I'm addicted. Most of the time, though, I'll see an episode or two of some lame-ass reality show on MTV or something. I keep telling my roomates that the only reason shows like Super Sweet 16 stay on the air is that people, who know they are lame for watching it and getting WAY too into it, like us continue to flip to it and leave it on! My favorites, though...educational shows...shows that you can get something out of...on TLC (Trauma: Life in the ER!!!), on History Channel (Modern Marvels), on Discover (Myth Busters), etc. I know I'm a nerd, and I'm fine with that. I also enjoy watching the news; when there's a big story, I'm glued to the TV, even after I've heard the same reports 20 times. Oh, how could I forget Oprah and Ellen--that black lady and that lesbian sure know how to make good TV!

Books:

Ugh...reading...not a fan...if I start a good book, I'll usually finish it pretty quickly, but this is rare. If I read anything, it's Metro or AM New York in the Subway and of course anything full of gossip like US Weekly, duh. I like GQ and Details, too, but I'm not gonna lie, I don't read the articles; I just like to look at the pictures!

Heroes:

My Parents, My Brother and Sister, My Boohbah, anyone else who lives a life that leads to making people happy and for the betterment of others...
