Front loaders are primarily used for collection of commercial containers (often called "dumpsters"). These large vehicles are highly productive and engaged in collection of waste from businesses and industry.In certain applications, this type of machine has been adapted to residential collection as well. When used in this fashion, a low-entry low cab forward, right-hand drive chassis setup is typical. This truck configuration has a container mounted on the forks and bags or trashcans are emptied into the container.
