About Me

Now into our 5th year of sporadic yet pleasing musical collaboration and creation. we've got an excellent 7" single under our belts that precedes our upcoming album. The new album, Songs from the Holy Fool, will be released on Oakland's Splintered Tree Records at the top of the new year 2006!!! we can't wait to get our bag together with a bunch of SF bay area shows and maybe even some L.A. appearances to spice things up. who knows for now but we'll be chopping it up in the studio getting the new songs ready and the old songs TIGHT. be in touch with any gig info, booking questions, etc.DO YOU LIKE THE SONGS YOU'RE HEARING!?!?!GO TO: www.cdbaby.com/cd/sweetleafboysyou can have your very own copy!!! img src="http://www.splinteredtree.com/madrone_flyer.jpg"

Sounds Like: a foot in the past and a foot in the future. It's the sound of nothing you've ever heard before except about a million times and yet somehow it's different. more concretely the stylistic palette is a blend of garage, pop, psych, and punkish sensabilities, then add the secret jitterbug perfume of inciteful, relevent lyrics that give something worth thinking about. our end result is both absurd and sublime!
