popularity originally means belonging to the people.
To People today it means I need to be important.
Clique, As individuals we all differ.
More Important, At base value we are all humans,
WE THINK ;).
Thus we all have that ONE common.
Celebrities/Popularity figures are an important part of many people's
PERSONAL value systems.
Which forms a vital component of success in people-oriented fields,
Such As POLITICS!.
Or People base their lives around celebrities.
People who without that spotlight would otherwise be COMMON.
Many different variations of popularity exist.
Also, Many ways in which to GAIN it.
General popularity usually involves respect in two directions:
The popular person/THING is respected by his, hers, ITS peers,
(people recognize a thing to be popular)
Showing it respect,(prasing thus birthing it)
thus reinforcing their belief that he, she, IT is DESERVING of popularity.
(WRONG-NESS!!! lmao)
Being LIKEABLE is an important component of popularity.
As a person who DOES NOT like others is UNLIKELY to be liked by others.
This mutual nature of interpersonal popularity is often OVERLOOKED by people,
(MAINLY YOUNG PEOPLE)
who are attempting to become popular.
(FOR WHAT REASONS?)
Being loud OR following the CROWD
may be successful in gaining attention,
But is unlikely to provide RESPECT!!!
We ALL know about the person who goes against the GRAIN
The Weirdo Everybody HATES
Who always wants to do his own thing
He's no FUN
Atleast not at that MOMENT, to YOU!
Cause there is always that ONE person
That ONE who doesnt understand but wants to
The person who believes in YOU.
Stopping to THINK?...Access Granted.
Humor may be a viable means of increasing one's popularity.
As there are few people in the world
who do not warm to somebody who amuses them.
However if taken too far this strategy can result in one being seen as
a clown or moron.
MEDIA LUNCH!
So When I say Popular Is Wrong
Confused FOLLOWERS will say, "Your prices are wrong."
Or find other ways to REJECT (No PUN intended)
