About Me

Anybody who has known me in the past would still know me today. I have grown up (some) but am still the same laid back guy, easy going & having fun daily. I am happily married to my college sweetheart, Emily. We have two children. The first daughter is named Susan Bryce. The Susan part is in honor of my wonderful mother, who passed away in 2005. Our 2nd daughter, Evelyn Brianna, was born in February 2009! We pretty much call them by their middle names Bryce & Brianna though, to keep them in line with all the "B's" in our family: Bruce, Brent, Bart, Brian, Brad, Bret, Brooke, Brock, Ben, Bryce, Bo, & Brianna. I consider myself to have many homes:(in chronological order) Cobb County, GA, Gadsden, AL, Franklin, TN, Ocean Springs, MS, Tuscaloosa, AL, & Houston, TX) all of which have added something to my life. Gadsden is still home to most of my relatives, a beautiful area in the mountains. Franklin was a perfect place to be a child/middle schooler. I had wonderful neighbors & such a safe environment. There was plenty of room to play & grow. Ocean Springs was a great place to be for high school, the beach, beautiful girls & a great church youth group. Of course Tuscaloosa is a great place to spend college (though a decade may have been too long...) & UA won the football National Title my first year there (though I had little to do with it...) Houston is a fantastic place to live, with so much to do I have barely scratched the surface in 4 years. H-town is where my marriage began & my baby was born. The next era of my life is the return to Sweet Home Alabama, which has only just begun! I tried teaching briefly but went back to management in retail because strangely enough, I do like it. I am hoping any old friends from Franklin, Biloxi, Ocean Springs, & Tuscaloosa can look me up here!
