The Shogun of Greensburg

...my black skin says no.

About Me

I'm laid back, more jaded than some ming dynastiy relic finds, and I'm one ball of seething anger when I want to be. I'm over-tolerant, lazy to a point, and I've a bad habit of dragging out conversations when someone asks me if I want to do something or go somewhere I have no intention of doing/going to. Plenty of "ummms, and uhhhs, and ahhhs". Like 5 minute's worth. I drink more coffee than I should, I get tipsy occasionally, I'm a perv, an inccorigible flirt, and I've always got my nose in a book.

Hey, those are my good qualities, or so I'm told. I like to write, I think I'm something of a method actor/writer when developing characters, and I'd love to indulge myself in the photography hobby I'd like to start sometime. Got a camera going to waste. Lessee, I wait tables for a living, but I'd rather run around the country hopped up on Redbull acting like a over-enthusiastic cheerleader, teaching others how to do the same. (Hey, it looks like a fun job to me, especially the paycheck!)

Speaking of keeping it 'real', I hate when someone tries to be something they're not. Me, I come from -Everson-. We're so rural it hurts. I listen to Metallica, I like Social D. I like Kanye, Dre, Jay-Z and the Wu-Tang Clan, but I'm not ghetto. And I sure as hell don't act, dress or talk like it. (...well, I do talk like it when I'm utterly pissed. ) Also, Wayne Brady makes Bryant Gumbal look like Malcolm X. (You know it's true!)

What Type of Killer Are You? [cool pictures]
You are a Samurai.
You are full of honour and value respect. You are not really the stereotypical hero, but you do fight for good. Just in your own way. For you, it is most certainly okay to kill an evil person, if it is for justice and peace. You also don't belive in mourning all the time and think that once you've hit a bad stage in life you just have to get up again. It's pointless to concentrate on emotional pain and better to just get on with everything. You also are a down to earth type of person and think before you act. Impulsive people may annoy you somewhat.

My Interests

Reading, Videogames, Listening to music, Movies, Acting, RPG's (Yes, I've been known to dabble in the geekery that is Dungeons and Dragons.) (No, we don't dress up and run around with cardboard swords. That'd just be weird. ;) )Also, I've gotten into MMO's. For the uninitiated, that's Massively Multiplayer Online RPG. Y'know, like that everquest stuff. Except I play World of Warcraft. Cause it's better. :DI also like to go out to bars/clubbing, dancing is something I have fun with. Few of my preferred haunts include Jocco's on Thursday's (While it's still under the current ownership) for Kareoke Night, and occasionally, The Upstage in Pittsburgh for Ceremony (Goth/Industrial night) on Saturdays.

I'd like to meet:

Orlando Jones and the new 7-up guy, so I could get physical proof that they aren't me!Also, I'd like to meet Aaron MacGruder to applaud him for his comic strip, not to mention a nice girl who'll laugh at my stupid jokes/comments, and appreciate me. But now that fantasy's done, I'm all for chillin with my boys. Good 'nough. Keeps me sane.

Music:

Just damn near anything. Some of my favorite artists include Kanye West, the Gorillaz, and Twista on the rap spectrum, but I do give respect to talented folks like Johnny Cash. And I'm a pretty big fan of Sublime.Country...not so much.

Movies:

Kung fu Movies, Blacksploitation films, More than a few comedies, Tarentino-directed flicks, and quite a few others. Near the top of my all time favorite movies, reside The Blues Brothers, Office-Space, American Beauty, Fight Club, and Iron Monkey (with the english language track)

Television:

The Boondocks, Adult Swim, The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, The Daily Show, Chappele's Show, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Robot Chicken.

Books:

Machievelli's The Prince, The Art of War by Sun Tzu, Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality series, The Dark Tower series by Steven King, IT by Steven King, R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt series, The Lord of the Rings, Dragonlance by Margret Weiss and Tracy Hickman

Heroes:

Huey Freeman, Jim (Men build statues to Greek gods. Greek gods build statues to Jim.)
