About Me

IronWork supports www.sealsanctuary.co.uk
IronWork is my experimental stuff, some of it vaguely serious [e.g. Lausanne Concerto], some of it not really serious [e.g. Zeb and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance] and some of it I'm not sure yet [e.g. Carnage Meadow].
My seriously serious (that's to say signed) stuff is on http://www.myspace.com/geheimestaatspolitik

Having achieved all my main aims in life, I would now like to be able to play the drums like Dave Lombardo, win the EuroMillions lottery, quit work and buy a chalet in the Swiss Alps. But I am not materialistic. I just want a good place to play music without my grumpy neighbour getting on my nerves.
20 May: no fucker has bought my sampler CD for 3 weeks now, I am depressed ;-)
30 May: héhe... all the sampler CDs are now sold ! Cool :-)
Anyway, forget all that bollocks and read this (if you would be so kind) :
Seals sponsored by IronWork as a result of CD sales - THANK YOU !
'Roo'
'Magnet'
Buts it's not just seals who have problems. YOU can ALSO help stop the carnage of innocent CDs. Believe it or not, in Switzerland, each unwanted CD has to be taken into the forest and shot to pieces. It's shocking! If you don't believe me, look at this evidence:
So, how can you help seals AND hear wonderful music at the same time? Well, you could 'adopt' an IronWork/GSP CD for only CHF 5 (Euro 3, $6.66, £2). That's cheaper than a pint of beer in a London pub! You will receive a hand-numbered limited edition (1 of only 50 copies) IronWork and GSP split Sampler CD, with IronWork "Carnage Meadow" insert hand shot in a Swiss forest, containing approximately 50 minutes of interesting ambient/classical/black metal/martial industrial/neo-folk music, a CD adoption newsletter, various other special items, and a used 9mm bullet casing [CH only]. No postage charge, because I'm generous like that.
It's like adopting a seal, but it's cheaper, and you don't have to clear up the seal poo. All profits will be sent towww.sealsanctuary.co.uk
If you're interested, just send me a message via MySpace and we'll sort it out.
More info about the CD:

By the way, this is a baby sea-lion, not a seal. You can tell because unlike a seal it has external ear flaps and Carlos Fandango flippers.
As of May 30, all 50 copies pf the sampler are now sold or given away to Djs and such-like. Yeah ! But I'm sure there will be another version with different tracks coming soon.
As a result, two other seal pups (Arial and Ronnie) at www.sealsanctuary.co.uk will now be sponsored and nursed back to health. So, thanks for your support, and I hope I didn't sound too much like Sting and his flipping whales ;-)
And [almost] finally, just in case you give a damn,
IronWork is currently working on:
1. Ambient Swiss Hell CD for release in 2009
2. Rehearsals for the debut GeheimeStaatsPolitik concert
3. The SAS double-tap method with two hands...
- - - - - NOT like this. Let's see the target then, Mr Speedy... No?! - - - - -
* Finally, for those with a thirst for knowledge instead of guns and stuff: the word LIBERTINE has come to mean one devoid of any restraints, especially one who ignores or even spurns religious norms, accepted morals, and forms of behaviour sanctioned by the larger society. The philosophy gained new-found adherents in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, particularly in France and Britain. Notable among these were John Wilmot, 2nd Earl of Rochester, the Marquis de Sade, and Aleister Crowley. "Libertine", like many words, is an evolving one, defined today as "a dissolute person; usually a person who is morally unrestrained". Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand wrote that Joseph Bonaparte "sought only life's pleasures and easy access to libertinism," while on the throne of Naples. In modern times, libertinism has been associated with sado-masochism, nihilism and free love.
Make of that lot and its relevance to IronWork what you will ;-]
Have a nice day.
