10 Years's ago I joined a Jazz workshop in Sydney and was asked to join a traditional Jazz Band and then meet Luke Paramor, a fantastic Pianist and arranger who started the "BLUE MARTINIS" Band doing 50's & 60's Jazz & Latin & proggressing into mainly (Portuguese) Brazilian Jazz. We Loved It !! I then had a private tutor, some with Kerri Biddell & even 4 years of classical with a NUN called Sister Eleanor Macris.Doing Jazz Ballet and being an extra in a Movie and would love to put it all together into a show. A singing & dancing show !I've grown to love the old Hollywood movies, 50's & 60's My main influenes in music were mainly Anita O'Day ( who unfortunately passed) and June Christy - Big band sister - But both completely opposites ! Like me, a tripple Gemini !!Luke & myself made "THE BLUE MARTINIS" CD and would love to in the near future re - record it and do a Brazilian CD, why? Because its so much fun. Wev'e played at a variety of places like the NSW ART GaLLERY, WINE BANK, Mainly at Jazz festivals & sang for 3 months in a brand new Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
