THE BONE COLLECTOR

Fungujeme od roku 2000, ale většího úspěchu jsme dosáhli až v roce 2005 vítězstvím v soutěži amatérských kapel "Líheň". Prošli jsme si mnohými peripetiemi jako ztráta nebo vykradení zkušebny, pauzami, krizemi a jak změnami v sestavě, tak i ve stylu hraní. Pořád se ale snažíme vytvářet muziku, která i přes inspiraci old school hardcorem a trash metalem, obsahuje i prvky vlastní originality.
The band formed by a trio: ARNO [guitars,vocals], WRZEC [drums] and HERYER [bass] towards the end of 1999, but our first quite succesful year on Havířov's rock scene was 2001. Then started some problems as it happens, loss of our practice space etc. and ended by leaving Heryer. There wasn't much happening until the start of 2003, when our friends PROMACH [guitar] and LACI FAJNSCHMECKER [bass] started to play with us. This band arangement was good and productive, but again didn't last very long, only until the end of 2003. Promach left and Wrzec went abroad for a few months, so we had a six months long break. When Wrzec came back, we had new beginning. Laci's position was filled by a new bassguitarist SLÍWA and from mid 2004 we started performing again. We could say, the next two years were the best, most succesful and productive. In summer 2005 we won the finals of regional competition for amateur bands "LÍHEŇ" in northern Moravia and we also recorded our first 6 songs "DEMO" album. The sound quality wasn't the best, but we had succesful christening of the demo at the Jazz club in our hometown Havířov. In autumn 2005 with the help of our friend and talented filmmaker MARTIN FERKO we made our first music video "HORKO". Year 2006 came and also new excellent guitarist PEDY who brought to our music some great solos and we continued our quite success the whole year. Then in 2007 some problems began again, some friction between us, which climaxed by leaving Slíwa, so we were without bassist again. Anyway, in May 2007 we recorded our second "PROMO NO.2" which was much better sound quality, second music video "BYLI JSME" directed by Martin Ferko in July and we also found new bassguitarist WOLŇAS. Unfortunately our practice space was broken into and most of our stuff was stolen. This incident stoped us for a couple months, then we found new space and we contributed our song "Byli Jsme" to interesting compilation of regional bands from northern Moravia "Ostrava Music City" released in April 2008. Unfortunately in summer Pedy left us, cause of lack of time and instead of him came our permanent colaborater PROMACH. We currently working on a few new songs and we preparing for concerts. Against all odds we still love what we doing. Year 2009: Changes in band members, WOLŇAS, PROMACH and WRZEC left. Instead WRZEC on drum post came 17 years old talented drummer FUSOCH and also came new bassguitarist JACCOB.
