About Me

I am a stay-at-home mother of my gorgeous 4 year old son, Maddox, and equally handsome one year old son, Mason. My wonderful husband of 9 years, Matthew, is a lead pastor in the Church of the Nazarene. Our family bleeds Steeler black and gold, and we couldn't be more proud of our five time Superbowl Champions. Life around here is unpredictable, but that's the way we like it!Got this from my buddy Tristan and it describes a good ol' Delaware gal: The Delaware girl mystique is hard to describe. It's a mix of that small town charm with some big city attitude. Delaware girls go to the beach, not the "shore," and we sleep just fine with sand in our beds. We are classy, not grungy, no matter how we dress or what music we listen to. We know good corn, tomatoes, and strawberries when we taste them, and they only come from local markets. Yes, at sometimes, we are high maintenance but we also know how to relax. Delaware girls don't pay tax, they love Wawa and Grotto's. We drive on the highway with attitude but in towns with caution. We have the charm and grace of the south yet the wit and confidence of the north. Your true midatlantic girl, the perfect combination.

Totally Tubular

If there were a family plan at the ENT, we'd be on it.  I took Maddox for his check-up today and everything looks smashing.  Mason went for his first appointment, and well, after an exam and...

Today marked a huge achievement for Matt.  My husband has never been what anyone would define as an athlete.  In conversation with his mom just this evening, she said that he tried out for b...

Back on poop patrol...again

No, not dog poop this time! Mason had his 18 month check up today.  I didn't have a great feeling going into it, but tried to think positively.  I don't do well with that.  To me, Mason...

When little kids become big kids

Yesterday Maddox posed an interesting question to me regarding Dora and Diego's relationship.  It was a statement actually that led to a question.  He said, "Diego, he's Dora's boyfriend."&n...

Light Sabers and Poop Nuggets

I live with four boys.  I eat, sleep, and breath boy stuff.  My room, my haven, has never gotten the time it deserves, is not in any way finished, and most likely will remain an abyss until ...
