How to Help...

The main objective of a Street Team is to promote the band, and the more people there are involved within the Street Team, the more people are spreading the word. So, if you know any Mike TV fans that aren't on the 'team, please tell them to join asap! Thanks!If and when you're sent any promotional stuff, (posters, stickers, flyers, cds etc)be sure to use them and use them wisely! It'd be great if you promoted all over anywhere and everywhere. Grab people walking by, take stuff into your school/college/university/workplace, ask to put posters in the local shops, youth halls, leisure centres and even churches!If you know of a gig/concert/show in your area, tell your mates and bring as many people with you as possible! If there's a crowd, the atmosphere tends to be a lot more fun and if the crowd's a big group of your mates, you're most certain to have a wicked time!If you've bought any merchandise, don't be afraid to sport it! Be proud of it, wear your Mike TV shirt as often as you can - without starting to smell. Parade your merch buys at other gigs and make sure you have Mike TV pins/badges or whatever other merch on your bags/jeans/jackets etc.When you listen to the radio, phone/text or email your favourite radio station and let them know you love Mike TV! Persuade them to play a Mike TV track on air and if they don't have any access to their music - message us on MySpace with the radio station and email, or phone number and we'll send a CD out to you/them!Do you want Mike TV to play in your town/city? Just send us the contact details (phone numbers, e-mails, postal addresses) of venues/clubs/pubs etc where they may be able to play. Whilst you're at it, drop them a call/email or even an old-fashioned letter written by yourself telling them how much you'd love Mike TV to play at a particular venue!Because we are your friends, it's only right that Mike TV should be in your top friends list on MySpace! Okay, you don't have to, but they'd love you if you did.Also, when we hit you up with MySpace bulletins/blogs and general bollocks, feel free to click reply or copy and paste the latest news into your own bulletin so all your friends will see it too! It would be really useful if you could put any flyers or banners we post on your MySpace profiles too! Cheers!
