About Me

My name is Arlether Wilson and I am the Author of a phenomenal memoir titled, “Rewriting the Script.” As a teenager, I was reared in the foster care system, became a homeless teenage mother, dropped out of high school. But with hard work, faith and determination I was able to turn my life around. Today I am a college graduate, a police officer, advocate, mentor, motivational speaker and author. Believe me….You Have the Power to Rewrite Your Life Script…..if necessary.

The purpose of this Myspace page is to empower, educate and support adolescent girls and women to be the best that they can be. Hopefully my input will help someone during their life’s journey. I will provide access to resources about positive body image, careers, sports, education, healthy relationships and other concerns. Please feel free to drop me a line with any suggestions…they are welcomed. We Can Change The World….If We Work Together!

If you are interested in learning more about Arlether or if you'd like to purchase her book, visit her website at www.rewritethescript.com or send her a message at [email protected] .

Adolescent girls are under a tremendous amount of pressure these days. With all of the negative commercials and television shows, it is important to find ways to counter them with positive messages. I am working on my next book, which will lend a comprehensive approach to many of the issues our teens and pre-teens deal with daily. For now, I have included a few resources for teens and their parents. I am not a therapist, so please feel free to peruse the internet for additional information.
