Daniel Vale (Vale) began DJ'ing in the year 2002. After following Digitally Imported radio for a couple of years and listening to various live mixes from Ciacomix, Mike Hunter and Johan Nilson, he decided that DJ'ing would be a great way to share the music he loved. Specializing in his favored genre of trance music, he cleverly blends tech-trance, electronic breaks and uplifting euphoric tunes together to create a chilled out set. Not only are Vale's sets imaginative, he creates immense amounts of energy onto a dance floor that will make anyone get up off their feet!Since Vale began his journey in 2002, he has played in clubs around England such as "The Ocean Rooms" in Brighton, "The Face Bar" & "Purple Turtle" in Reading for Momentum DJ's, "SEOne" alongside Ian Betts and Sophie Sugar and has also played abroad in Norway and Sweden.During the summer of 2005, Vale entered the Nu Breed competition for Tidy Trax. Vale got through to the Semi-Finals of the knockout heats, not before getting great feedback from Tara Reynolds and Paul Maddox!Much to his delight after years of supporting Digitally Imported, Vale was then offered a show for Digitally Imported Radio called Event Horizon, where he has showcased names such as DJ Choose, JFK, DJ Shog, Wavetraxx, Fabio Stein and Megara vs. DJ Lee to name a few! The show was launched in August 2005 and has been a great success on the Digitally Imported roster!Vale was the amazed by the sound of up-coming producer Steve Allen, who was then instantly asked by Vale to be on the next episode of Event Horizon. Since that very episode, Vale & Steve decided to take their taste of trance into generating their ideas into a record label. Diverted Recordings was then born in 2006. Vale & Steve since then have been held in high esteem for the releases on their label.Diverted releases have been playlisted by some of the biggest names in dance music such as Judge Jules, Christopher Lawrence, Paul van Dyk, John Askew, Agnelli & Nelson, Lee Haslam, Graham Gold and many many more!
