I love my crazy, beautiful life! It hasn't always been easy because I'm definitely not one of those people where life always goes their way. I have endured the disappointments and pain of a failed marriage and bad relationships. I have struggled to balance a career, continuing my education, and a social life while being a single parent. I look back and I'm suprised I haven't lost my mind! I know without such a great support team I would not be where I am today. I am thankful to all my friends and family for their support when my life was in such chaos and hope that one day I will be able to pay it forward and be a great friend to someone in need.
As for my past, I will give you a little background information about me to let you know where I have come from to make me the person I am today. I grew up in a small town west of Fort Worth called Aledo. After high school, my best friend,Deb, and I went into the Army. I have been out for a while now and my military career seems like a lifetime ago...but I had good times and memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. As for life post military, I have worked for the government, been a stay at home mom, a college student and now am starting my career over yet again. Some would say I've lived my adult life a little backwards, but hey, you live and learn and I still have a lot to learn! As for learning, my friends and family are my life teachers. I am always amazed at the insight that others offer with their unique perspective and am thankful to be surrounded by a diverse group of friends that have such a wealth of knowledge. Not that every word you hear is gospel...but it's always interesting to see how someone else can relate in their own way. My greatest teacher has been my son, Ryan. He has taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. I am amazed everyday how much more I love him and how much I will sacrifice for him.
