Wedding Tapes are a five-piece rock outfit forming in the Summer of 2008. They quickly Launched themselves into the Tasmanian music scene playing multiple shows over the state with some of Tassie's finest bands. Late in the year Wedding Tapes found themselves recording their Debut EP titled "In Our Heads". Recorded and Mixed by the great Anthony Rochester at the Winter Palace in Hobart.

The launch of Wedding Tapes debut ep "In Our Heads" was very succesful and attracted a large local crowd boarder lining 200 people, proving that they certainly can pull a crowd. The launch gained some media attention bringing the Launceston Examiner to take photos, they labeled Wedding Tapes as "A great up and coming band, and one to look out for"
Following the triumphant launch, Wedding Tapes have been interviewed and will be included in the next issue of Victorian based street press Buzz.
