My Future Lies began January 2006. 3 guys, van and a heap of catchy tunes set out to prove that small Aussie bands can make a difference. Within 6 months, AE released their 1st EP to 200 friends at the metro's Lair in Sydney. The boys toured on the back of this ep all over Australia including NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, ACT and even 3 shows in Tasmania.2007 saw the band take on a new Bass player and move up a notch with 2 live performances on MTV's THE LAIR in june and again in October. The band also added some big shows to their list with The Veronica's support at the Hordern Sydney, sold out shows with Uk sensation McFly and festivals such as Legs 11, ShoreShocked, AJ2007 and the Valley Fiesta.The band started pre production of their debut album dec 2007 and released the single Kissing You in the Driveway to help pay for the albums recording costs. January 2008 the band hit the studio and completed their 1st album early march with a release date set for March 28th.Ready to tour and make tracks all over the country again, Acid Eyeliner are set to break records as an unsigned act in Australia. Selling CDs, DVDs and Tshirts all over the world and with a growing myspace following of more than 20000 people, the boys are keen to see what the future holds.
