Influences:my influences are my grandmother, she was a singer and started me out singing at a early age, while watching my older cousins sing in church.Other influences are Donny Hathaway,Al green,James Cleveland,Rev.Paul Jones,Clark Sisters,Aretha,Gladys,Marvin Gaye,Luther Vandross,Bob Marley,Curtis Mayfield,D'angelo,raheem devaughn, jus to name a few.gospel music is my first love, it helped me to tap into that power inside of me to be able to use my gift of singing. i sing from the soul. i also sing jazz,r&b and neo soul. i believe we as artist should not be put in a box, it blocks the creative flow, we should experiment with different genres of music. music is suppose to flow.
Sounds Like: i dont try to be no one but me, when god gives us a gift, he never duplicates, we all are unique and have somethin different to bring to the universe.artist out ther, stop trying to sound like each other, do u.im a singer/songwriter. i wrote the single, make tha best of...out of a personal experience that i was goin thru, i just turned things around and wrote a song about it, now im doin better than evr! shout out to lawrence from H-town he did the track to tha single. i will put more music on here soon. peace!
