About Me

When I was a kid growing up in the South, This little town had one radio station and it played R and B late in the afternoon Late at night I listen to WLAC in Nashville, Tenn. They played Blues, Gospil and R and B music. I heard Blues and R and B on juke boxes, which was in some peoples houses and cafes. I have played and sang gospel with the Family group. I have played with serval Bllues and Jazz groups in the pass. Ata this timeI play music with My Brother, Duwayne, a fine panio player. We perform a lot together. Please visit our web site at cunninghamduo.com I played the trumpit and the baritone horn in junior high and high school marching band.The 'Cincinnati United Local Artists Network (C.U.L.A.N.) honored me at their 10th Annual Music Masters Summit on March 2nd at the legendary 20th Century Theatre in the Oakly/Hyde Park area of CincinnatiI received the 'Flower Award' for my contributions to music in the Cincinnati area. The plaaque acknowledged me for 'service and dedication to the art of music' and for being a fixture of our fabric and a continuing reason that builds and makes Cincinnati great!'

Influences: I was influence by artists , such as Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, George Benson, B.B. King, T Bone Walker, Freddy King and a host of Blues and Jazz musicans.
Sounds Like: My sound to me is mellow not tinny. Jazzy and bluesy.
