Eldon Hagen

Born in the Red River Valley of North Dakota, Eldon Hagen was playing music by the age of ten; his dad was a country /bluegrass musician who played a lot of the "old" music... trad. folk and country from the Grand Ole Opry days. Eldon plays Banjo, Dobro, Guitar, Resonator(slide), Mandolin, Bass, Cello, Piano, Harmonica, and Jugs to name a few... and none of them very good, by his own standards! But he has fun and wallows in the dark hollow of Bluegrass, Old Time, Country and Delta Blues, Mountain Music, Trad. Jazz, Indian and Persian Classical, as well as Western Classical traditions. If that sounds like a lot, it explains his scatterbrained nature. Be sure to see Eldon in several bands, including Snake In The Grass which has been holed up for a while but is ready to strike!
