About Me

----------Urban Operatives (Urban Ops) is a Christian faith-based ministry committed to meeting the holistic needs of todays youth culture. We will do this by:Using ingenious and creative ways to transmit the Gospel, including Hip Hop music, theatre and the spoken word. Going to the source, to the places where the needy youth are. We will visit jails, rehabilitation homes, stage outdoor events, whatever is necessary, to go to where there is spiritual need. Forming relationships with churches (New Life Christian Fellowship, Spirit Life Community Church) in our community to disciple and instruct the new believers we reach.Inspired by the neglected youth of our churches, Urban Ops was formed by three God-fearing young people in 2003 that desired a more direct and effective way of dealing with inner city and otherwise forgotten youth. It is a ministry bred out of love for young people, a ministry purposed to boldly take Jesus to the young masses.

Josh Saucedo (aka Revival): Josh is a husband, minister, humble servant and a friend to most anyone he meets. His dedication to others, heart to serve, and commitment to his savior is unshakeable. His unquelled and tremendous enthusiasm for Urban Ops and the work inspires us all in ministry. Josh has been rapping for over five years, and his ingenuity and creativity with lyrics, especially hooks and poems, have been an asset to Urban Ops.

Raymond Romero (aka Precision): Raymond is the groupâ€™s youngest member, but the depth of his lyrics far outweigh his youth. His lyrics are poignant and right on the mark, and only his poetry is more gripping and thought provoking.

Hector Saucedo (aka Quest One): Hector has been ministering to young people for over eight years. Having grown-up in the Gospel, and having also left Christ for a season, Hector brings a unique insight to his lyrics and his sermons. Hector is also a preacher, inspiring us with with anointed and passionate sermons. With his loving wife at his side, Hector continues to bring change and a call to service and commitment to young people everywhere
