We're not a band, noo, but a basement. A place for local bands, and a small gathering of people to enjoy music, buy merch, and have fun.
Zombie Underground is a lame name. Indeed. But zombies are cool, and the basement in which the shows are preformed, just happens to be underground. And besides, it's the first thing that came to mind.
We're located in North Muskegon, and as I said before, we're a basement. Though, it's not HUGE (the basement, I mean), quite a few persons can fit, along with a few bands, equipment, some tables, and maybe even a pit.
Wondering why we're having shows in a basement, and calling it a ridiculous name? Well, I (Marion, the creator) just moved to the area, and realized my basement was perfect! for these types of things. So, why the hell not. And thus, the idea was born.
The shows are small, about 60-70 people at the most, and the bands we'd like to play, vary. Everyone enjoys different types of music, so we'll play different types of music. Any local band, or band passing through, that has a following and/or other bands that'll love to play a show with them (or even if we need to find you some partners in crime), are welcome. As long as you're decent people and you wont come to destroy the lovely home in which the basement is attached to.
And we're also pretty easy going, but we do have some rules. Drugs, and alcohol are not permitted in or outside the house. Besides being totally against those being anywhere near the place, we're also localed next to a school. We ask you kindly to keep that away from the area, and if we catch you with either or, you'll be kicked out and banned. Smoking is not allowed inside, only in the backyard, and you must take care of your butts (do not throw them on the ground). Lastly, we ask that you do not break anything, cause harm to fellow music lovers or bands, or steal. If you do, you'll be kicked out and banned also. We'd like to create an environment that will allow everyone to enjoy themselves and have heap fulls of fun.
