Funk Dubois was a jam funk/blues band from Winnipeg Manitoba. Rob Turnbull (Guitar) and Josh Ayers (Drums) met in middle school and played in bands together from 1999-2006. In their first year of Music School in 2004 at the University of Manitoba they met the multi-talented Alex Cambell (Bass, Keyboards, Harmonica, Didjeridoo). Right away the three guys clicked, and a new musical relationship was born. A year and a half later the band developped their style and sound, performing all around town with other local bands. There is a certain energy that flowed from this band at shows, and they loved to see everyone up and dancing.
As of summer '06 the band is on haitus while members persue different projects.
