About Me

Well, it should be easy to tell that I'm a Baby boomer, started playing 45s dad brought home from the beer joints when I was about 8, started trumpet in the 5th grade & made jr. high a year early, & high school band a year early. by my senior year ;Iplayed Baritone, Tuba, French Horn, & Drums. Started Guitar at 14 playing Ventures, Chuck Berry, Freddie King, ect. Had first pro group at Turner falls Park, Davis, Ok. in 64-65.(glory days) Moved to Texas in 68 playing bars in south oak cliff, & east dallas, joined capital Recording artists, the Side of the Road Gang in 74, play"in Bass and sharing lead vocals with Dick Kasper, & David (greatest songwriter ever) Patton. 5 great years with those guys, then, my band, Gangbusters, and a few bands here and there with David, Little miss Jereann, and a few more; In 93-95 my soulmate, Char Howard, who was not only the love of my life, but the best manager I ever will have, booked me as opening act, on the same stages with the Dobbie Bros. Fleetwood Mac Hank Jr. the kentucky head hunters, Dave Mason, the Faboulus Thunderbirds & more. The lord took her home. I now live back where I was born in Oklahoma, and take care of my wonderfull Mom, my fan since day one. I'm a lucky guy to still have my Mom. I'm still writing, and pick'in, and probably will till they rip my guitar from my cold dead hands
