COVER RECORDINGS OVER THE YEARS
This page contain some cover songs I've played on throughout the years. They are neither perfect, nor exact/accurate versions of the originals, but instead my (and my collaborators) free interpretations of the same. More than striving for exact replicas/versions, I try to capture the presence and energy of the originals, often with a more living "live feel" than a polished recording studio sound (there are exceptions, though).
I personally don't see the point with trying to replicate every note, sound etc of the originals, as these are already available on the market. Why not, instead, try to put my own touch on the songs? If you want to hear the original versions, just go out and buy the original recordings, and you'll be content/happy.
I'm fairly pleased with how these covers sound, even though I maybe could have been more serious about the whole recording situation, or picking the most suitable collaborators/musicians, or using the same equipment as was used on the originals, or... but, hey folks, it's only rock 'n' roll! And my english isn't perfect! Enjoy the music!
