Dr Sammy started his sonic venture in the mid-90s after venturing in some of the primal psychedelic trance parties that took place in his hometown, Athens.Not long time after and because of the poor quality
level of the local dj's at that time, he decided to put himself behind decks. Influenced from the
likes of UK acidic psychedelic trance at that time and dj's / producers like Dara Lee, Xenomorph, Johan Van Reede, Steve Ronan, Dino Psaras, Sammy beginned by playing some twisted nightime psytrance sets and got positive feedback despite his young age.Just before the millenium closure, he got involved with propably the most famous greek psytrance imprint, Acidance records who set new standards with releasing the debut album from the Russian duo, unknown at that
time, Parasense.
Few years later and after travelling and playing various open air gatherings, clubnights and festivals around the country and abroad he left the Acidance camp (around 2004) and decided to collaborate and become a label dj
for the new-born Greek label, Re-union Records, owned by his good mate Jordan who was most known for his involvement with Etnica-net. He has shared the bill with worldwide famous dj's and producers over all these years such as:Joti Sidhu, Xp, Laughing Budha, Kindjadja, Shane Goby, Voice of Cod, Ticon, Lish, Wizzy Noise, Scorb, Lorry (Archaic), Electric Mirror and many more.If you still havent had the chance to listen to his dj-set, don't miss-out next time.BOOM !!!
