Takin' my gypsy heart and leavin' this town

About Me

So here's the deal- I write sappy songs that really only appeal to the broken hearted- can't help it, that's just what comes out. 99 out of 100 days I am a happy person, not at all like my songs make it seem. When I am upset though, I write to get my emotions out. Once I've played a song enough times to get good at it, I'm usually over whatever pain caused the song. It's great therapy. Someday I hope to write more songs that are lively and uplifting but when I'm happy I'm usually out running around living life, not writting. I've got a few happy songs but not nearly enough. I think if I learn how to play my guitar and piano better I might have more luck with that. All in good time right? So I love music and in some ways it's my life, but there are so many things I have a passion for. I absolutely adore the arts in general. I LOVE art history, going to museums in major cities and seeing amazing collections as well as little coffee shops with pieces by local artists. I'm not really good at any one thing, but pretty good at alot of things. I paint, draw, make jewelry, do photography, sew and design clothes... I love the outdoors and many outdoor activities like fishing, camping, hiking, kayaking (on a lake- no rapids for me), and of course sports- can't live without lots of activity whether it's boxing, running, cruising on my bicycle, or just hitting the gym-whatever sounds fun and gets my heart racing or takes my mind to a better place. I believe in enjoying the precious time we have on this earth, loving the people around you, being true and real, and leaving this place better than how I found it.
