In the times of our ancient world where honor, loyalty, respect for friend AND foe, and brotherhood stood above all, money, power, greed, gluttony and betrayal were seldom seen for they were pleasures for the moment that had no meaning in the overall desire of mankind and our dreams to reach the stars amongst the Gods. Where greatness was seen in the actions and not the words of a man. Where mankind would gaze at the stars and the world itself and know their place in the universe and know how rare and precious life is. To create civilizations with their bare hands and fight for it without hesitation and without politics and verbal backstabbing from the people of their own country. This is a calling to the world now that is desperately trying to warn us all of where our race is heading, we are a society that gives ourselves to the highest bidder, to the one who will give us fame, fortune, power, to whomever will offer us a better deal to make ourselves hollow, fake, temporary and shallow. We exist now to fulfill such petty self indulgences and mediocre gluttony that only has a short-lived satisfactory feeling that will leave us wanting more until we spoil ourselves and let the subtle beauty that the universe has offered us endlessly in our world that we let pass by everyday without stopping to appreciate the life we have. We care not of honor, not of respect and loyalty, only selfishness that will one day take away all that made mankind what it use to be.... Human
My name is Drydin Galenn Adestii Danryx, all my motivation for my passion exists in one word, Immortallity. My voice, my passion, my life, the love for my family, my mother and father everything I am is because of them and the people that have lived in this world knowing something has changed in all of us and it is going to a darker place becase of personal choices made by every human being that sets a chain reaction throughout our world and in this music, they will live on forever and live through my children, my childrens children until the end of time. People are so overwhelmed by the now that they lose their concept of time itself. They live their life with greed selfishness, lust and gluttony. But what is the point of their existance, their love, their passion, their strengths, their times of great accomplishment? A thousand years from now sounds like a long time... but it's not, a thousand years will pass by soo fast and who will still speak of your name, who will think of you and want to know who you were, what drove you to become the person you were? In my music, my voice will always be heard, it will always effect someone in some way after my body is turned into dust and is carried away by the wind. My love for my mother who has been the most compassionate woman I have ever known and I've loved with since birth, my father who I've always known to be strong willed and wise, who held me at birth. My love for my older brother who was always there to risk everything for our bond as brothers. My younger brother, who followed me and learned from me and my mistakes to make himself a better person. My love for my children and their children, and in the year 3007, my great grand children will hear my voice, hear me say I love them even though I never had the chance to hold them as infants, hold their hands as children, hold them in my arms when they are grown or hold their hands in their casket. I will be there to sooth them, to tell them a story a thousand years old of everyone that has made me who I am and has shaped the future that they live in. we will never die as long as we are remembered. and as long as this music enters the heart of my children they will know that I love them and will be for them in ways they never knew their ancestors could. I Love them and the people around me that have made me who I am soo much and it won't last forever, but in the sounds I've composed, my love will be undying.....
The world I live in exists in ways no one could ever understand, simple things around me describe to me who I am in ways no words from no man could ever fulfill. Sounds like the wind after a heavy storm, the sound of chains clanking in the fog of a deep dark meadow, the echoe of a lost soul traversing across a barren landscape in search for meaning in ways people always crucify you for. and in this world, I will always exist as a dying star trying desperately to shine through the night clouds, I will always be taken for granted, I will always be doubted, I will always be let down by those who promise they won't and always will my trust be put to the test, but in the end, I will never fail, and I will always look forward to the afterlife that I believe is waiting me...
Amphyrian Empire was written and composed by me featuring nothing but vocals, no synths were used, just pure human voices. This song is based on a dream I had where I die and wake up on a planet that is always dark and no other beings exist. no plant life, no animal life, no bodies of water yet clouds exist. Stone temples made of black rock rise to the sky and pierce the stars as if even they are reaching for a better world where they too are not forsakenned. There is one planet for each being, with stone temples that rise up and pierce the sky that never sees light. Towers with ancient writtings etched out of naturally glowing stone, echoes that exist and emit from nothing, sounds that rise from the depths of canyons that have no bottom, from structures that fade off into the dark horizon. Everything is dark here and alone, this world matches the life of many human beings, the doubt, the solitude, the darkness, their dreams and their nightmares, their passions, their love, their hate, their whole life, their ambitions and downfalls, their fear, their joy, their openned desires and hidden motivations, so many things that lie inbedded in their mind and their heart that fit all too well in that world, this is your world, enter it with a clear mind and pure soul and you too can experience the power that brings meaning to your world ... And in this song you will hear the sounds that I heard when in this state of conciousness. I hope you enjoy....
Jaad Sol (Second Sun) was written May 2nd 2007. This song is dedicated to my parents for their love and support that has been there for me since I was born. and Jaad Sol (Second Son) Is a play on words since I was their second son, this is my gift for them, so whennever I'm away from home, they will always hear my voice and have me there with them through their best and worst.
Ott Seprenn Ett Vesset An'eket was written March 17 2006. and was written in almost the same fashion as Amphyrian Empire where it was a dream of solitude and lifelessness but in this dream it was more of an awakenning feeling and one of acceptance where darkness wasn't dominant but light touching the planet for the first time. The sounds are meant to represent the sound of a planet taking it's first breath.
Temple Of Nariijn written on was an accomplishment in every way. This is the most indepth song I have ever written in my entire life and somehow only took 3 hours to make with minor adjustments made during finalization after that time. I started with the basics (tempo) which was created using african tribal percussion sequences and modern day hip-hop hi hat rhythm formed with a touch of trance off-beat hi hats found in european electronica to give that trance feel. And last but not least the Amphyrian Empire Choir used in every song composed with vocals which are all real. I hope you can sit back, close your eyes and take in all the sounds that I have composed for you to explore yourself.
