I had my heart broken which resulted in my becoming a single mother. I barely thought I would survive it until I learned to play a 12 string guitar, write songs and realize I could give myself a VOICE through music...this helped me to become strong, find love, move on and heal. I have only been playing out locally in coffee shops, and pubs around Tucson, since this past July. I decided to frequent open mics in Tucson, network and see what comes of that. My recordings are done in my home by me, so while they are not perfect they are from the heart and real. I hope to always evolve and improve in my songwriting, singing and guitar playing abilities, and I hope my songs are a reflection of life in all of it's ups and downs...I am a lover, a fighter, and a dreamer...I love to drive with the windows down and the music loud. I LOVE adventure! I daydream about living in another country. I am a mother, a wife, a sister, a friend, and a musician...I am a dancer and a prancer, a night owl, and an early bird. I am a stargazing, wind feeling, beach combing, seashell finding, horse riding, guitar picking, loud singing, tree climbing, people loving, moonbeam chaser. I love the ocean, the wind, the rain, and bad weather. I want to live in Seattle one day and make people happy through music. Oh yeah, and I think laughing a big deep giant laugh is the best gift God gave us. I hope my songs are a reflection of all of the things that make me "Lara" and all of the events in my life that have brought me to where I am today.WHO ARE YOU? I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW.
