There are many things to smile about these days. I am in constant pursuit of self improvement in many areas of my life. I am learning to be more lighthearted and have fun in the process. I tend to be on the serious side but only in regards to my goals. Everything else, I take in stride. My family is the most important part of me. I have two children and three stepchildren and they are all so wonderful! I am at the point in my relationship with my children that I have enjoyed them so much and now wish they had not grown so quickly. Thankfully they still need me. My husband has the somewhat daunting task of dealing with my everyday obsessions and remarkably dazzling (!) personality and he does it so well. For that alone he deserves his wings. I love to see different places and explore cultures. I would love to spend a year in Alaska and teach Inuit children. But at this point, stick me somewhere warm and I am a very happy person. Overall I am luckier than most yet I sometimes forget that.
