About Me
History :
Started on March 2008, where Ahmad (lead guitar), Kubab (bass), Acap (drums), Ara (rhytm) were in the same secondary school, share same interests and have good chemistry in forming a band. Named after their personality, they claimed themselves as The Shy.
Soon enough they were very excited in having themselves an audition as they wanted to play as a guest band for a school event. They composed a song, and having trouble looking for a vocalist, as they realised they really need to have one. As they were desperate, some of them suggested Syaz, one of their schoolmates as they thought she maybe can sing their song eventhough she had never sang before.
As things turned out another way, Ara cannot play along with them for that audition thing. So they asked Syaz, if she can sing while playing guitar and she agreed to try so. After many trials, and having Syaz in good condition to join the band, they then called themselves Imaginary Frens, (I.F) because they always imagine things and like to talk about the future, and cannot stop from talking the word IF.
They failed the audition but that wasn't the end. They decided to record the song 'promises' and a new song called 'sumthing about u' at Pertama Music Studio. They now strugling to record some other songs and going to have their E.P out soon, as god willing. As for the time being, they keep on writing and composing more and more songs. Because their love in music have no boundaries and they will strive to success.!
Influences :
Imaginary Frens was confused, on what type of music they want to play. After they met some people, and after some meeting, they decided to bring up rock n' roll music to people. Having influences from Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, AC DC, Twisted Sister, and other rock bands, they now craving for attention through their songs with hope that, people can feel their pure spirit, and understand their music.
As people around them give full support on what they want to do, they got a lot of help on everything, from managing the band until how to get the satisfaction from each and every performance they do. They even have a song composed by Rex now.
We just want to say thanks a lot to everyone, no matter who u are, thanks a lot guys. Just know the facts that we are nothing without u, and hope u guys enjoy our music. Really do, people.
