Jack Lord’s Hair

About Me

Jack Lord's Hair began in 1986 and ended (we think) near the end of the second millennium. This site will attempt to chronicle the wacky world of the Hair. Stay tuned for later episodes and soundtracks. [Band members add/edit info below]

Episode 1: War of the Monster Trucks

Soundtrack: War of the Monster Trucks/I Wanna Marry Martha Quinn/Stain Alive/Waiting for Pizza

At some point in 1986, The Real Gone played it's final gig ending in fisticuffs on stage. The remains of the band joined up with scattered parts of The Bodies, and Jack Lord's Hair was born.

The early Hair played regular gigs at the old one-room Chameleon, the amazing, but fucking freezing, unheated Demi Club near Harrisburg, as well as a variety of rented fire halls, Moose Lodges, and American Legion halls in Central Pennsylvania.

The War of the Monster Trucks was recorded on 4-track in 1986.

Episode 2: The Difference Between Trash and Garbage

At some point in 1988 the band figured out how to play instruments and remember lyrics.... [Mark, Rex, et al-Pick it up from here]!
