Brainlust was formed in 2007 by three of its current members, with the intent to play something unique in the veins of both traditional and scandinavian death metal and hardcore. Reaching our current lineup in late 2008, our music incorporates melodic riffs, twin leads, blastbeats, a varied range of extreme vocal styles and heavy breakdowns. Influenced by horror movies and mostly zombies, our lyrics and music both reflect a macabre atmosphere, thus creating a melodic yet brutal sound. We recorded a two-song demo in January 2009, and started playing shows in April.
A Brainlust zenekart 2007 elején a jelenlegi tagok közül hárman alakították (Damien, Kristóf és Attila). 2008 első felében csatlakozott a felálláshoz Nándi (ének) majd az év második felében Máté lépett be második gitárosként. Mondanivalónkat főként zombi- és egyéb horrorfilmek inspirálta szövegkörnyezetben fejtjük ki.  2009 januárjában vettük fel két számos Three Feet Under című demónkat.
