the CANDY SNATCHERS (official)

Started in the summer of 1992. Toured the U.S. and Canada extensively. The Candy Snatchers have put out a ton of seven inch 45s and seven or eight full length albums which all received rave reviews. The band's live shows are near legendary being exceptionally well played despite the fact that sheer chaos is the standard for each event - audience and band members run the risk of injury. Unfortunately in late June of 2008, Candy Snatchers' guitarist Matthew Odietus passed away. The Candy Snatchers are sadly no more. Before Matthew left this mortal coil, the band did record a new full-length that will be out in early 2009. Zodiac Killer Records is putting out the CD while the Virginia Beach based Black Lung Records issues the vinyl.
