Dubshape aka Ale Reis and Joao Lee are two old time DJs, producers and friends from the Brazilian house scene. Each had a different music background but from a few years ago to the present days have found each other..s taste getting very similar. That plus their passion for studio led them to start producing together.
Inspite producing together Joao and Ale have always trailed separate DJ careers. As DJs they represent the deep and tech house scene in Brazil. Playing at clubs like Warung and D-Edge, where they have their current Dubshape residency in Sao Paulo, making warm-ups to DJs like Steve Bug, Gui Boratto, Phonique, Booka Shade, DJ T, Francois Dubois…
With influences from old school house and deep house together with a blend of tech textures, their production caught the attention of labels such as 8Bit Records, Kompakt Records and Supernature Records.
Dubshape é o projeto formado pelos Djs e produtores Ale Reis e João Lee. Mesmo tendo formação musical diferente, a paixão que cada um tem pela musica e por estúdio fez com que os dois começassem a produzir juntos.
Independente dessa união no estúdio, Ale e João sempre trilharam carreiras separadas como djs. Tocando em clubs e festas como D-Edge (primeira residência do Dubshape), Houseship, Gramado, etc. sempre tocaram ao lado de djs nacionais e internacionais de peso. Entre eles estão Steve Bug, Phonique, Gui Boratto, DJ T, François Dubois, Audiofly, Nick Curly...
