One century and ceveral art revolutions later the BERLINER KUNSTSALON was opened by a quite similar attempt in september 2004,however not in opposition to a painting tradition that doesn't exist anymore like the 'Berlin Secession'.The organizers have installed 34 exhibition-rooms ina 4.000 qm hall inwich invited galleries, art projects, curators and artist-networks are going to meet during 6 days. As this event is not a matter of superficial sale but a meeting place / melting pot for art, artists, art mediators and art enthusiasts, on can say, taht they follow on the tradition of the art salon of the 15'th century.Now, an other few years later, the BERLINER KUNSTSALON developed to one of Berlin main art evnets wich takes place once a year in autumn - in parallel with a couple of conventional art fairs. The last BERLINER KUNSTSALON took place on about 12.000 qm and reached more than 14.000 international visitors.The 5'th BERLINER KUNSTSALON will take place from October the 30'th to November the 3'rd 2008. <>
