Ground Chuck
Up Chuck

It’s been said that the road to success is a long and very difficult one, full of hard work and brutal sacrifices. Fortunately for Chuck Cherry and The Coffee Pots, they didn’t partake in any of that. “We just got together in Chuck’s garage,” says Chuck Pot, “and the magic just happened. After that, it was nothin’ but fame and riches.” Don’t we all wish it was that easy? But it didn’t start out with such a simple path.

It’s been said that the Coffee Pots found themselves together in a rather unorthodox manner. Chuck Cherry started in the business world with a chain of Italian restaurants (Cerrillo’s), which were passed on to his brother after rock stardom entered the picture. Chuck Coffee enjoyed a short stint in the nightclub business, but that was just a stepping stone to the luxuries of the music industry. Before Chuck Pot graced our ears with his amazing talent, he spent the majority of his days running his child daycare business (which has unfortunately closed due to an impending investigation). “We all love pancakes,” declares Chuck Coffee. Well said.

Many have also wondered how three guys, all with the name Charles, could end up playing such worldly music together. Well that’s where you’d be asking the wrong question. “I come from a long line of Chucks,” says Chuck Cherry. “My great-great grandfather, Chuck Cerrioli, brought my family over from the old country. You know, Brooklyn.” No Charlie’s in this ensemble, you see.

The Coffee Pots have seen their fare share of the world, due to the extensive touring from their two very popular albums, one being the fan favorite, An Awesome Album, and the critically acclaimed, Another Awesome Album. The fellas plan on hitting the scene once again in support of their upcoming release, Awesome B-Sides and Unreleased Tracks…Album. According to Chuck Coffee, “We just want to stick to our roots of Japanese Classic, Regional Mexican, and Chinese Pop. And this might just be our awesomest album yet. The perfect set of tracks for dance offs!”

Even after such a long and successful career, Chuck Cherry and The Coffee Pots show no signs of stopping, and feel they have a lot to offer the world, not only with music, but with life lesssons, as well. When asked about this, Chuck Cherry offers, “I feel we have a lot to offer the world, not only with music, but with life lessons, as well.” Clever words from a clever man.

“I just do it for the kids,” proclaims Chuck Pot. “I believe they’re our future, if, of course, you teach them well, and let them lead the way.” Just go ahead and add that to your list of wise quotes from men with long mustaches.

Sounds Like: The best band ever!!!
