About Me

HERE ARE SONGS FROM DEMOS AND ALBUMS I HAVE PLAYED ON:
Ben has been a touring and recording drummer for the past ten years. He cut his teeth touring with underground punk bands as a teenager in the back of transit vans and recorded his first albums in low key back street studios on tiny budgets. In time his bands gained greater recognition and more mainstream success. It was with his band Million Dead that he had the fortune to record a session for John Peel just a couple of years before the broadcaster's untimely death, gained A-List MTV play and toured the U.K. extensively, building a loyal following. Ben is a seasoned touring drummer and is no stranger to the comforts of a tour bus or the idiosyncrasies of van and squat tours and is comfortable playing on festival stages and the corners of tiny venues. He has recorded several albums for his own bands which have received exalting reviews as well as being a regular session musician for up and coming bands. He has had the fortune to work with producers such as Paul Epworth (Kate Nash, Babyshambles, Primal Scream, Bloc Party), Matt Wallace (Faith No More, Maroon 5), Dave McCracken (Ian Brown), Mark Williams (Oceansize, Bloc Party), Joe Gibb (Leftfield, Jane's Addiction) and Liam Watson (White Stripes) and has played alongside bands such as The Futureheads, Funeral For A Friend, Pitchshifter, Therapy? Hundred Reasons, Thrice, Thursday, Coheed and Cambria and Fighting With Wire. He is endorsed by Sabian, Tama, Aquarian, Regal Tip and Hardcase .
