Tony Skahan began his musical career by playing trumpet in the 8th grade. He eventually moved on to piano and drums, ultimately ending up playing the instrument most likely to get him the womens—guitar. Through a series of adventures involving revenge, Samoan drug lords, and lots of cool explosions, Tony found his way to Columbus, GA, where he would one day find—and fulfill—his destiny.
Jason Ezzell, one of Columbus’ premiere guitarists and fully-ordained Jedi Master, felt a disturbance in The Force upon Tony’s arrival. Taking a break from his hectic recording schedule, his investigation led him to an open mic night run by Jordan Beck and John Phillips.
John, a card-carrying magician/classically trained percussionist and Jordan, bassist/renowned biographer of President Grover Cleveland, invited Jason and Tony to join them on stage.
Suddenly, the sky grew black, the moon vermillion, the stars a sort of chartreuse with a delightful pinkish undertone. As the bar crumbled around the four on stage, they realized that with their powers combined, they could almost totally singlehandedly sort of completely change the world and stuff.
And thus The Oneeders were born.
