Studio Zoo

For Everyone

About Me

Developed back in 2001 by the innovative Pat Slice and Johnny Tangle, Studio Zoo is a concept that predominantly bases itself around soulful music. Under its original design Studio Zoo sought to play an eclectic selection of Soul, Funk, Disco, Reggae, Ska, Rock'n'Roll, Northern Soul and Soulful House Music. Today Studio Zoo is a DJ collective that still centres itself around this ideology and they’ve left no stone unturned on their quest to assemble a musical archive spanning far and wide from past to present. But Studio Zoo is also about creating an atmosphere which is second to none. Whether it’s about chilling at the bar and listening to some top tunes or hitting the dance floor and making some shapes all are welcome, and this is the cornerstone of their infamous slogan “For Everyone”. Although, you must be warned, the dance floor has been known to draw people in like a magnet and is extremely contagious, and who could blame them when the music is irresistible? In the words of its founders:Pat Slice - “A man who dances to soulful music obeys the yearnings of his soul.”Michael Starr - "Soul Is The Reflection."Johnny Tangle - "What??"Keep The Faith Fortnightly Residency.
