Much Ado about Nothing

About Me

Divorced with three kids. I play bass guitar. I can make computers do reasonably impressive things sometimes. I spent a long time as a technical writer, and a lot of time in other computer-type-jobs (programming, testing, support, etc.), and was Director of Guest Services at a hotel (I still do their website at oceanviewinnandresort.com ), and at the moment I'm working in customer support for a great new company, Carbonite . I live in Gloucester, MA (where they filmed "The Perfect Storm").

If you're an Everquest person that browsed on over from the myspace of one of my dear EQ type friends and you're curious, I'm Kobayashii , on the Maelin Starpyre server. For many years I was also Wiltan Ryouki . I've played some World of Warcraft - same character names, on the Gorefiend server, but haven't played for several months.

I put this donate button up while I was unemployed. I'm working now, but I'll leave it up just in case. Between child support and my own bills, I'm always a sneeze away from being broke anyway.

Wanna know how to make your MySpace profile (or any web page for that matter) absolutely horrible? Squeeze as many blinky flashy scrolly graphics as you can find onto it. Be sure to add background music that plays automatically too. Oh, and also, put in an applet that plays a music video. Don't get hung up on making sure it's playing the same song as your background music; two songs playing at once means twice the fun! If you can find a flash/shockwave game with sound and music to toss in there too, that's even better. On the subject of fonts - the more the merrier, the bigger the better, and be sure to use colors like bright green, pink, and magenta - all three if possible. And finally: the best way to show that you're unique and original is to use the Comic Sans font, just like all your unique and original friends.
