Gander Mountain String Band

About Me

gander mountain string band started as a few friends goofing off, jamming, enjoying each other & playing music that we loved. at some point we realized we had formed a band & decided to name it after an overpriced clothing store. * -drew fisher was born & raised in the knoxville area and is proud of his native american heritage. drew is a jack of all trades of music: in addition to banjo, vocals & guitar, drew can play harmonicas, keyboards, bass, hand drums, dulcimer, mandolin & melodica. * -zach wade, who primarily plays banjo, guitar & vocals, is from chattanooga, tn & currently lives in murfreesboro with his girlfriend & fellow bandmate, sarah. zach is passionate about music & has an instrument addiction of sorts. * -sarah sterchi, also a chattanooga native, began singing with her dad's blues band when she was in high school. she sang in the choir & performed in musicals, as well. she will graduate from MTSU in may with a degree in psychology. she is working on learning an instrument other than the jaw harp & kazoo, well, and her vocal chords of course.
