Bio

Larry Curry grew up in New Jersey and began piano lessons at the age of 7, violin at 9, and trombone at 11. While the piano is Larry's main focus today, the trombone allowed Larry to seat in NJ All-Regional and All-State concert bands, 1st chair trombonist of NJ All-State Jazz Ensemble, and to travel with the Youth of America Concert Band to Europe before attending college. While many of his high school friends attended schools such as Juliard, and Berkelee School of Music, Larry decided to study engineering in college. With parents being educators with advanced degrees, college was a "Oh yes you will go!"

While in college, Larry made his first demo tape which allowed for "Larry & Co" to receive local radio play in Delaware and New Jersey. This tape allowed the group to become a semi-finalist in the 1988 KFC Gospel Competition in Philadelphia.

After completing college, Larry has been busy recording projects while raising a loving family. While in Dayton, Larry received much radio air time on WROU with DJ Kenneth Ray Tevis, and WDAS after releasing his debut cd entitled "Larry Curry...an Introduction".
