Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Sherlyn Whittiker has worked with the likes of Bobby Womack, the Weather Girls, Chaka Khan, Bobby Kimball, Bonnie Raitt, Phyllis Hyman and many more.
At the tender age of 6, she started singing in church. And to this date even with the all the successful mainstream projects she has laid hands on, she never turned her back to the church. She toured with the Jackson Singers, The Harlem Gospel Singers around the world. She also had a leading role in the Musical Production “Mahaliaâ€, about the life of Gospel great Mahalia Jackson.
She also displayed her acting talents in films and TV productions with Judge Reinhold, Roseanne Barr, Grace Jones, Adam Ant and Lorenzo Llamas.Sherlyn Whittiker and Thomas Motter were the masterminds of the "T-MC" LP projects "No Return" and "Nite Angel" released in 2002 and 2003. She is currently working on a new release with Thomas Motter, which will be a rich mixture of Soul, Funk, R&B, Gospel all with some modern hump!
