i have an amazing family and a small core of real friends who, when i'm an old man, will sit with me on a porch somewhere and drink whiskey (or lemonade if our bodies are too fucked up by then). we will laugh about the crazy shit we've done together, recap the places we've seen and speak fondly of those we've loved and those we've lost. we will smile at cute girls as they walk by and throw out some old cheesy pick up line, laughing as they blush ;)
life is an experience - not a job, not a responsibility. i work to live and take my responsibilities very seriously, but i will never again forget to live. i will never turn down an opportunity to experience and i will take every opportunity i get to spend time with friends and loved ones.
