Out of the demise of Tim Herron’s critically acclaimed group The Tim Herron Corporation came a sense of solitude. Tim searched high and low to replace his fallen brothers Eric and PJ, who prematurely left this world, one to the lure of bleached hair and the latter to a station wagon and a car seat. Down on his luck and hitting rock bottom Tim was arrested for a charge that was later dropped and cannot be mentioned because of another pending case, Tim was in need of a lawyer. He turned to the good firm of Gale and Danks in the prosperous hamlet of Fayetteville, in where he met an eager young attorney named Max Gale. The two became friends at an instance, sharing their love of politics, Hebrew lore, expensive scotches, exotic women, the law and chaos. Soon Tim discovered another passion in Max, his desire to play the Bass. Tim began schooling Max in the art, theory and philosophy of the Bass and after some time Tim felt he was ready, the solitude was beginning to lift. Tim then turned to his old prep school classmate Charley Orlando to join this quest, he agreed and all that was then needed was a drummer, and oh did they ever find one. Deep in the gorges of Ithaca lived a very wise man who wielded a power unlike any other. It took days to find him, but the three would-be assailants followed the creek through the gorge and came to a clearing and there he stood. The group asked the man "Would you join" and he agreed and took his rightful seat in the formation. The man was David Salce. The Solitude was gone and now Tim Herron, Max Gale, Charley Orlando and David Salce have taken on the identity of the Assassins of Hip, defending all that is virtuous in Rock and Roll
