Since I started my new job, I work ALL THE TIME. But I also like to cook - check out my recipes in my blog, they are all Sarah Originals. I play poker when I can, but it's tough to find a good game in Georgia. I'm stuck playing online and freerolls at local bars. Hey, anybody near Dahlonega, GA have a poker game I can play? Please let me know!
I'd like to meet laid back people who can deal with cat hair on the sofa, my ridiculous obsession with No Limit Texas Hold 'em and hearing about the research I do. Also, any new friends of mine will also be forced to watch DVDs of Buffy the Vampire Slayer from time to time.
I like all music, except country or christian rock. I'm on this classical kick lately... Bach, Mozart, all the great ones. I would say Dave Matthews Band was my favorite but they've kinda lost what they once had, so I am without a favorite band at this moment. My most listened to CD right now is Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, The Bridge.
I love movies, all of them, even the crappy ones. Some of my favorites... The Princess Bride, The Godfather (I and II), The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Say Anything (I love John Cusack), American Beauty (I love Kevin Spacey), Star Wars (IV, V, VI), Big Fish, Donnie Darko, The Ring
I just upgraded my cable to the crazy, all you can ever watch, every movie channel available, package (I love having a real job). I used to never watch TV, but now I can't stay away. Every evening I watch Rachael Ray cook her 30 Minute Meals and afterward I watch the wacky scientist Alton Brown make some Good Eats. Mondays I can't miss How I Met Your Mother. Tuesday - poker night, no TV. Wednesday is the night for Veronica Mars. Thurday, nothing get's in my way of seeing Smallville and My Name is Earl. Haven't seen Earl yet? It's a must. Go watch it now, somehow. And of course, Sunday night is The Simpsons and Family Guy. Also, since Veronica Mars is on at the same time as Lost, I download Lost episodes and watch them later.Told you I was hooked - TV is the devil. When nothing else is on, I just watch DVDs of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and anything else by Joss Whedon. The man is a genious.
I love to read, now that I don't watch TV. Stephen King's Dark Tower series and any books related to the dark tower (The Stand, Eyes of the Dragon...). I mostly read fantasy, but I'll try any book a friend might suggest.
Joss Whedon. Galileo. Keith Hernandez. My friend Mikey.
