Hello, Welcome to you that have come to our myspace site. We work with a group of outstanding and ingeniusly talented people. So many of them that had helped us to reach this point in time. We assembled the present control room configuration to experiment with the on going discussion of which is more suited to our listening pleasure, analog or digital, stereo or surround sound 5.1 etc. This experiment has opened up our ears in ways that were cutoff by so much bad production in the mass media digital realm of beat boxes and pitch corrected vocals and mono mixes.
The ACME Recording studio was born originally in 10 tracks of a little Roland unit that everyone could operate. Then a 16 track board with the alesis hd24. Add a useful 24 channel board and the dream had become reality. With the generocity of many fine Karaoke singers and small ensembles and soloists the studio grew and grew. Now in 2008 we are a full blown work of magnets and miracles connected by networks of wireless and wired gadgets for making stereo sound. Mastering to 1/4 inch analog tape on an Otari MTR 10.
