About Filomousiki:
Carrying in name the feeling that motivates the band, Filomousiki tries to conquest its space in Melodic/Heavy Metal scene of Brasil, in the purpose of difuse its music without rules, always looking for versatility. Their lyrics involve war, relligion, mythology and even love matters. Formed in the begginnig of 2006 by Igor Antonio (Guitars), Paulo George (Guitars) and Paulo Sherring (Drums) as they reuned in a jam only for fun, they felt they could really do a serious job when Thales Campelo (Bass) and Gustavo ’Careca’ (Vocals) entered the group, With the style decision as Melodic Metal, came the necessity of Keyboards and, soon, the entrance of Gustavo Auad (Keyboards), Igor’s brother, that during some time had been alway from band, being substituted by Raquel Serruya (Tenebrys) and a few months later returning to band. During two years of life, the band has been consolidating his work, composing and doing some shows, like the memorable ’Stress Rock Fest’, celebrating 30 years of the first brazilian Heavy Metal band: Stress, and the participation in a competition of new bands and talents provided by "AM&T", a Music School, in what was aclaimmed the Champion Band. Now, Filomousiki is preparing and recording step by step its first CD, which still has no name.

Biografia:
Carregando em seu nome o sentimento que une essa banda, Filomousiki busca seu espaço na cena de Belém com o propósito de difundir seu heavy metal melódico, totalmente livre de regras, buscando sempre a versatilidade. Suas músicas falam de guerra, religião, mitologia e ate mesmo amor.
A banda formou-se no início de 2006 originalmente por Igor Antonio (Guitarra), Paulo George (Guitarra) e Paulo Sherring (Bateria) quando se reuniram para tocar apenas por diversão. No entanto, quando Thales Campelo (Contrabaixo) e Gustavo “Careca” (Vocal) se juntaram ao grupo sentiram que daquela diversão poderia resultar um trabalho sério.
Com a atribuição do estilo como Metal Melódico sentiu-se a necessidade de um teclado, posto ocupado pelo irmão de Igor, Gustavo Auad (Teclado), que por um tempo se afastou da banda, sendo substituído por Raquel Serruya (Tenebrys), mas logo se reintegrou ao grupo.
A banda vem ao longo desses dois anos amadurecendo seu trabalho, compondo e fazendo algumas apresentações, como o memorável Stress Rock Fest, festival de comemoração de 30 anos de carreira da consagrada banda paraense, Stress, e a participação do primeiro festival de novos talentos Acorde realizado em uma parceria da AM&T – Academia de Música e Tecnologia – e a rede de lojas de informática Computer Store, no qual a Filomousiki foi consagrada a campeã.
No momento a banda está preparando seu primeiro CD ainda sem título. As músicas serão gravadas gradativamente.
